BALLET

Allstars offers R.A.D (Royal Academy of Dance) ballet training from Pre-Primary right through to Advanced 2. Ballet lays a strong technical foundation for dance technique and plays an integral role in grooming a dancer to excel in all styles of dance. It gives strength, technique, discipline, poise, flexibility, coordination, musicality and balance. Our students are given the choice to compete at Eisteddfods, participate in ballet exams and dance at our end of year concert. The classes are designed for beginners right through to the more serious dancer wanting to pursue a professional career in dance. Personal grooming at ballet class is strict. Dancers must wear the studio leotard and ballet belt (see uniform requirements), ballet tights or socks, ballet shoes, hair sprayed and pinned into a neat, smooth and firm bun.

All students are assessed and placed into the level that best suits their ability, these classes are not based on student ages, students are not placed into classes with friends

it is vital for a student’s development to be placed in the most suited class for their ability so they can further themselves and develop at the correct stage so they excel and succeed.

No parent is to approach teachers to question grading, Kates decision is final.
